Basic sanitation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

FGV Projetos, in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Legal Studies on Infrastructure (IBEJI), will hold another digital roundtable meeting today, April 16, at 5 pm, this time based on the topic of “COVID-19: Sanitation in focus, prevention and development.” The objective is to analyze the measures taken by companies to continue and improve the services provided to the public, despite current operational difficulties. The participants will also discuss the effects of this public health crisis on the progress of the bill to establish a new legal framework for basic sanitation, which is now being examined by Congress.
The digital roundtable’s participants will be Geninho Zuliani, a federal representative and the rapporteur for the new sanitation regulatory framework bill; Daniela Mattos Sandoval Coli, the vice president for corporate affairs and regulation at BRK Ambiental; Percy Soares Neto, the executive director of the Brazilian Association of Water and Sewage Concession-Holders (ABCON); Rosane Coelho, the executive manager of FGV Projetos; and João Negrini Neto, IBEJI’s administrative and financial director. The latter two people will moderate the meeting, alongside another executive manager of FGV Projetos, Charles Schramm, and IBEJI’s president, Augusto Neves Dal Pozzo.
