Event debates impacts of inequality on access to education during the pandemic

On July 7, at 10 am, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Center for the Development of Public Management and Educational Policy (FGV DGPE), FGV High School and FGV In Company will hold a webinar called “Educational Inclusion During the Pandemic.” At the meeting, education academics, specialists and managers will discuss inequality in the COVID-19 crisis and alternative ways of upholding everyone’s right to education.

The webinar will feature Professor Paulo Gabriel Nacif of Recôncavo da Bahia Federal University, who chairs the Bahia State Education Council; Rodrigo Mendes, the superintendent of the Rodrigo Mendes Institute; André Lázaro, the public policy director of the Santillana Foundation; and Professor Thiago Amparo of the FGV Sao Paulo Law School and FGV School of International Relations, who is an expert on constitutional law, as well as public and corporate diversity and antidiscrimination policies. The moderator will be Tatiana Bello, the Itaú Social Foundation’s implementation manager.
