On July 21, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Rio de Janeiro Law School, through its Graduate Regulatory Law Program, will hold a webinar called “The Pandemic and Financial Rebalancing: the Case of the Power Sector.” This will be the fourth meeting in the series, which aims to debate issues related to public law during the ongoing pandemic. It will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel as of 6 pm.

The event will discuss criteria for identifying imbalances and instruments for promoting the financial rebalancing of administrative contracts due to the pandemic, specifically in the electricity sector.

The speakers will be professors Vera Monteiro (FGV Sao Paulo Law School), Egon Bockmann (Paraná Federal University) and Armando Castelar (FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School and FGV Brazilian Institute of Economics). The moderator will be Livia Amorim (University of Sao Paulo).
