On August 3, FGV Energy will hold a webinar called “Brazilian Energy Supplies in Future. What Can We Expect in 2050?” The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel, starting at 6 pm.

To discuss the long-term structure and expansion of Brazilian energy supplies, FGV Energy has invited the following speakers: Thiago Barral, the president of the government’s Energy Research Company (EPE); Élbia Gannoum, the president of the Brazilian Wind Power Association (ABEEólica); Rodrigo Sauaia, the president of the Brazilian Solar Power Association (ABSOLAR); and Roberto Rodrigues, the coordinator of FGV’s Agribusiness Center and a former agriculture minister.

The moderators will be Fernanda Delgado, a professor and strategic advisor at FGV Energy; and FGV Energy researcher Paulo César Cunha.
