Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Group for Research on Infrastructure and Environmental Economics, in partnership with BMG Seguros, will hold a webinar on August 25, called “Regulatory Advances in Insurance – Public Consultation About Standards.” The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel, starting at 2 pm.

The event will discuss the insurance market, its main challenges and changes needed to allow it to play a leading role in Brazil’s next cycle of infrastructure investment.

The speakers will be Solange Paiva Vieira, the superintendent of the Brazilian Private Insurance Regulatory Agency (SUSEP); Antonio Trindade, the president of trade association FenSeg; and Gesner Oliveira, the coordinator of FGV’s Group for Research on Infrastructure and Environmental Economics. The moderator will be Jorge Sant’Anna, the CEO of BMG Seguros.
