The Graduate Finance and Economics Program at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) will kick off a series of Master Talks on October 9. Every two weeks, there will be a discussion between the program’s professors, renowned experts and executives at large companies on a variety of subjects linked to finance and economics. The first webinar will address the issue of “How Data Science Is Operating in the Business World.” It will be broadcast live, starting at midday, on FGV’s YouTube channel.

The event will feature Gustavo Ioschpe, the CEO of Big Data. He will talk about data science and how this new field of knowledge is being absorbed by the market. The moderator will be Professor Márcio Holland, the coordinator of FGV EESP’s Graduate Program.
