FGV holds debate on measures to improve people’s spirits in pandemic

The pandemic has brought about atypical and very challenging situations, such as having to deal with threats to life, isolation, fears and uncertainties. It has unveiled conflicts that were previously camouflaged, highlighting differences, prejudice and intolerance. In this unstable and turbulent context, how should we find balance? Do people have adaptive and survival resources to maintain mental health?
To answer these and other questions, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Education Support Center (FGV NAP) has invited psychologist Valeria Nascimento to discuss “Improving People’s Spirits in the Pandemic: Resources and Possibilities,” on October 5, at 6 pm. The aim is to reflect on current difficulties, encourage self-perception of needs and limits, and suggest practical resources to help improve people’s mood in these new times. The moderator will be FGV NAP’s coordinator, Helena Giolito.
