On December 15, at 2 pm, FGV Executive Education will hold a webinar called Valuation Techniques Applied to Merger and Acquisition Operations. The event will be led by Professor Marcus Teixeira of FGV’s MBA programs and moderated by the coordinator of FGV Live, Professor Diego Ozório.

Valuation techniques significantly influence decision making in the business world, as they are able to estimate the real value of a company – determining its price and the return on the purchase of its shares. It is based on valuation results that financial analysts judge investment opportunities. This becomes even more evident during a merger or acquisition process.

During the meeting, the benefits and risks of mergers and acquisitions will be presented, as well as ways in which buyers and sellers can develop conflict management skills to succeed in their negotiations.
