On Wednesday, December 16, at 5 pm, the Center for Infrastructure Studies and Environmental Solutions at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration will hold a free webinar on infrastructure and insurance. Talks will be given by the infrastructure minister, Tarcísio Freitas; Solange Paiva Vieira, the superintendent of the Brazilian Insurance Regulatory Agency (SUSEP); and Gesner Oliveira, the coordinator of FGV EAESP’s Center for Infrastructure Studies and Environmental Solutions. The moderator will be Jorge Sant’Anna, the CEO of insurance company BMG Seguros.

The aim of the webinar is to discuss changes introduced by Law 1,292 of 1995, which modernized the general rules governing administrative contracts for construction work, services and goods procured by government bodies. This law will play an essential role in boosting investment in Brazilian infrastructure.
