FGV Executive Education is resuming its series of free webinars aimed at professional education. In all, there will be 21 online events between now and March, which will present topics and competencies addressed in depth in FGV’s new MBA Live courses. The events will be broadcast live, starting at 6 pm. The first one, scheduled for January 26, will discuss “Institutional and Governmental Relations in Complex Sectors.”

The institutional and governmental relations area is becoming more strategically important to organizations every year. Themes such as ESG (Environment, Social and Governance), corporate reputation and compliance are increasingly discussed. The first webinar will look at issues such as how extremely complex sectors organize their institutional and governmental relations areas, which subjects have received the most attention, and how to develop effective strategies and action plans.

The speakers will be Rodrigo Navarro, the president of ABRAMAT and board member of ABNT, CNI and FIESP; and Rafael Bastos, a lawyer who specializes in public law and processes. The moderator will be the executive director of FGV’s Affiliates Network, Luiz Migliora. The second meeting will take place on January 28 and it will address the topic of “The Personal Data Protection Law’s Challenges for Contract Drafting.”

The initiative is part of a new live-format type of MBA course at FGV. MBA Live consists of 100% live classes via web conference and real-time interaction with professors and fellow students. This new kind of innovative specialized education enables real-time networking among participants. The classes are also recorded and fully available, giving students flexibility and autonomy. The programs have the same quality and excellence offered by FGV’s in-person MBA courses and are conducted by the same professors.
