Professor of Rio de Janeiro Law School lectures at doctoral school in Ecuador

The Professor of Rio de Janeiro Law School (FGV DIREITO RIO), Paula Wojcikiewicz Almeida, gave a lecture, on July 17, in the 3ª Escuela Doctoral sobre Regionalismo Latinoamericano, Europeo y Comparado - event organized by the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar and the United Nations University (UNU) on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (CRIS).The meeting, held at Universidad Simón Bolívar, in Quito, had the support of the Latin American Network of Trade Policy (LATN), the Inter-American Development Bank, the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), the African Studies Centre of Leiden University and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.Paula gave a lecture at the table Comparative regionalism: Legal Perspectives, with the theme La implementación de la normatividade del Mercosur, as well as participating and orienting tutorials sections by doctoral researchers who presented their work at the school. The table was attended by César Montaño, of Universidad Simón Bolívar and Stephen Kingah, of the United Nations University.The participation of FGV in renowned graduate courses in Latin America contributes to the internationalization strategy of the institution and expands its influence in the region. As coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module, I believe that our participation was essential for exchanging experiences with Latin American and European partners and visualize future possibilities of academic cooperation, stated Paula.
