Rio de Janeiro Law School offers 4th edition of the training program for journalists

Rio de Janeiro Law School (FGV Direito Rio) issued an announcement for the fourth edition of the Law course for journalists. The goal is to qualify media professionals in legal issues, presenting the main concepts and ideas of the area.This year, the program includes the participation of the School's director, Joaquim Falcão, member of the National Council of Justice between 2005 and 2009, in addition to the lawyer Nelson Jobim, who was president of the Supreme Court and Minister of Defense and Justice.The selected professionals will have classes in various Legal areas, such as Criminal, Tax, Environmental, Constitutional, Economic and Labor. The course will also include classes on Regulation and Legislative and Judicial Processes. The class on Copyrights and Governance and Internet Regulation will be taught by researchers of the Center for Technology and Society (CTS/FGV), Marília Maciel and Pedro Mizukami. The course also presents news features, with courses on Electoral Law, Elections and Internet and Innovation.Registration is free and open until July 14. The course, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro on August 11-16, is aimed at graduate journalists, with more than three years of experience and currently working in an editorial staff.
