The Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE) will hold, on July 14-18, the short course Direção de Compras? (Procurement Management), with Professor Irène Foglierini, of ESCP Europe Paris. The program is aimed at all master's and PhD students of the School.The course covers the major theoretical concepts of the procurement process in both the public and private sectors, through the use of case studies derived from real experiences. The program also deals with the positioning of the procurement management in decision making, its integration into the supply chain, its indicators of success, and the contribution of the information system. Irène Foglierini is the procurement vice president of Assistance Publique Hôpitaux, in Paris, (AP-HP) and director of International Purchasing & Supply Management (IPSM), consulting firm specialized in the purchasing, supply chain and logistics areas. As a professor, she is responsible for courses in the purchasing area and scientific director of executive programs offered by ESCP Europe Paris.Enrollment is open until July 13.
