EBAPE debates innovation and business at conference on Latin America

Professor Henrique Heidtmann Neto represented the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE) at the Academy of International Business Latin America Conference 2014 - Innovation, Geography and Internationalization in Latin America - in the city of Medellín, Colombia. This is the most important event of collaborative research on international business in the region.Heidtmann organized a plenary session on trends of online education alongside Professor Ronaldo Parente, of Florida International University (FIU), visiting professor at the School. EBAPE currently offers five courses through the Long Distance Education model (EaD):  Degree in Commercial Management Technology, Degree in Financial Management Technology, Degree Business Processes Technology, Degree in Public Administration Technology and Degree in Marketing Technology.The conference was attended by over 100 participants; among them, newspaper editors in the business segment, such as the Global Strategy Journal, the Journal of World Business Long Range Planning. Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra, Steve Tallman, Jim Robins, Jonathan Doh, William Newbury, Sumit Kundu, who are experts in International Business and Latin America, also attended the event.Henry stressed the importance of EBAPE's participation in a meeting aimed at Latin America.
