On March 20, FGV's President, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, and its international director, Bianor Cavalcanti, welcomed the Consul General and the Vice Consul of the Consulate of China in Rio de Janeiro, Song Yang and Alex Jianwei Ma.The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information about the history of Brazil and China, highlighting the points of relationship between the nations that deserve attention and opportunities to develop them through a closer contact between the Chinese consulate and FGV. On the occasion, the Consul General of China praised the level of interest and knowledge of Simonsen Leal - who in return expressed his admiration for the diplomats' domain of the Portuguese language.The visitors also received a list with the most recent accomplishments involving China and FGV's Schools and Institutes, such as the School of Social Sciences (CPDOC), São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), FGV/EPGE - Brazilian School of Economics, the Brazilian Institute of Economics (IBRE) and the International Division itself (DINT).The visit took place in the auditorium of the presidency of FGV.
