Seminar presents EMAp's research lines and projects

The projects included the development of human mobility models from mobile phones' data, systems that generate real-time alerts on the risk of Dengue, continuous capture and analysis of the national media, scanning and 3D printing of art object.

Yesterday, March 13, professors of FGV/EMAp's Master in Information Mathematical Modeling presented their academic research and areas of interest, besides projects in partnership with universities, businesses and FGV Schools. The projects included the development of human mobility models from mobile phones' data, systems that generate real-time alerts on the risk of Dengue, continuous capture and analysis of the national media, scanning and 3D printing of art objects, besides the toolbox to simulate and estimate stochastic equations for application in neuroscience and bioinformatics, for example.EMAp's seminars take place every Thursday with a guest speaker and they are open to external audiences. Learn more about FGV/EMAp.
