FGV's International Affairs Division represents Latin America in Brussels

FGV's international director Bianor Cavalcanti and the manager of international programs of the International Affairs Division (DINT) Luiz Estevam Lopes Gonçalves were in Brussels from February 10-14 - where they participated in the meetings with the Executive Council of IASIA and the Board of Directors of IIAS.

FGV's international director, professor Bianor Cavalcanti, and the manager of international programs of the International Affairs Division (DINT), professor Luiz Estevam Lopes Gonçalves, were in Brussels from February 10-14 - where they participated in the meetings with the Executive Council of the International Association of Management Schools and Institutes (IASIA) and the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS).Throughout the week, strategic decisions about the future of these institutions were taken in the fields of Marketing, Finance, publications, valuation of specialized study groups, calendar of upcoming international conferences, expansion of memberships and cooperation between national and regional associations, focusing on the development of the Public Administration field.Upon the recommendation of Bianor Cavalcanti, the membership applications for the following institutions in Latin America were approved: Universidad Nacional deTres de Febrero, from Argentina (IASIA, IIAS); Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae, from Peru (IASIA); and Rede Escola de Governo, from Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil (IIAS, IASIA).Cavalcanti attended both meetings as IASIA's Regional Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean and as IIAS's president of the Latin American Group of Public Administration (GLAP).  Professor Luiz Estevam Gonçalves was the invited observer.CalendarIIAS's next international conference will take place in Ifrane, Morocco, on June 12-17.
