FGV Online has just launched two new courses in the series Finanças Pessoais (Personal Finances), a partnership between FGV's distance learning unit with ICATU Seguros, ?Como Fazer Investimentos ? Avançado? (How to Make Investments - Advanced) and Como Gastar Conscientemente? (How To Spend Consciously). Directed, respectively, at investors who wish to deepen their knowledge on investment diversification and risks and at people seeking guidance on how to consume consciously, within the limits of their budget, the two courses last eight hours, and are available in the free courses section of FGV Online's website.The economic outlook for the new year brings some very troubling aspects. This scenario indicates that investors should act with more caution, warned the professor of Finances at FGV and author of the courses, Fabio Gallo Garcia. Thus, it is essential to plan finances more closely, seeking to cut costs and maintain a reserve for the short term, explains the expert.The new courses complement the successful series of free courses in Personal Finances, created in 2011. Since their release, the courses have had over a million hits. The student profile is made up mostly by women (59%) and singles (59%), between 25 and 35 years old (more than 40%).
