FGV?s Law Schools offer summer course in South Africa

FGV students and professors will participate in the 2nd edition of Curso de Férias (Summer Course) - a partnership among FGV?s Law Schools in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo (FGV DIREITO RIO and DIREITO GV), Tilburg University (Holland) and North West University (South Africa). This year, the course will take place at the South African institution until January 18, and it will address the theme Global Legal Challenge of Urbanization.The course is attended by lecturers and students from the three institutions during 10 days, always held in January. In 2014, Rio de Janeiro Law School will be represented by Professor Ivar Hartmann and the students Gabriela Correia, Veronica Ramos, Anna Carolina Joppert and Andréa Lavourinha. Professor Marina Feferbaum and six other students of São Paulo Law School will complete the Brazilian group in South Africa.In 2013, the course on human security took place in Tilburg, Holland, and was attended by nine undergraduate students and two professors of Rio de Janeiro Law School.
