The Academic Management Board (DGA) of the Institute of Educational Development (IDE-FGV) held, on December 11, the last 2013 edition of Café com Saber  (Coffee with Knowledge) - a series of events facing the Institute's teaching community. The meeting brought together academic coordinators, directors and representatives of the DGA.The event included speeches by the CEO of IDE, Rubens Mario Wachholz, who spoke about the restructuring of the unit; the executive director of Rede Management, Mario Pinto; the director of Educational Solutions, Mary Kimiko; the coordinator of the Brazil Corporate Products Center of FGV Corporativo, Susana Marques; plus a presentation of DGA's coordinators, Claudia Bomfim and Rachel Lenziardi, about the actions of the area in 2013.The ?Café com Saber? event is a very important initiative since it has approached the DGA to our coordinators and professors. It is a unique opportunity that we have to listen to them and have their participation in our projects. We will keep the meetings in 2014. In the last event, our goal is to inform the changes that occurred in IDE, as well as the actions and new features of the Academic Management Board, explained the coordinator Raquel Lenziardi.Throughout the year, seven editions of ?Café com Saber? were carried out and addressed themes from the demands of healthcare courses to the current landscape of classrooms and the increasing use of new technologies to support learning, and the profile mapping of online course students.The DGA should be congratulated for the initiatives developed in 2013. We feel we belong, that we've been heard, that we've been active agents in the developed work. The consistency between theory and practice is happening. To see our students as active, rather than passive beings, starts with ourselves, when we are treated that way in FGV's change and improvement processes, noted the academic coordinator and professor Ana Ligia Finamor.
