FGV holds graduation ceremony in partnership with Argentine government

Fundação Getulio Vargas held the graduation ceremony of the second class of the Course of Specialization on Science and Technology Innovation Management - offered to scholarship students of the BECAR program of the government of Argentina. The course objective is to complement the knowledge of the students to develop the country.

Last Friday, November 29th, Fundação Getulio Vargas held the graduation ceremony of the second class of the Course of Specialization on Science and Technology Innovation Management - offered to scholarship students of the BECAR program of the government of Argentina. The 43 students spent the past four months devoting themselves to the program, which took place at FGV in Rio de Janeiro.Professor Paulo Figueiredo was the sponsor of the class at the graduation ceremony;  and the project manager of the Latin American Public Policies Center (CLPP/International Board - DINT), Rivail Cerqueira, was the commencement speaker. Professors Istvan Kazsnar, Roque Rabechini and Nivaldo Machado were honored, and also the employee of the Service and Operations Management (GOS), Francisco Almir Paulino Pereira - FGV's reception manager, and the employee of the Institute of Educational Development (IDE), Margarida da Conceição Silva. FGV is excellent from the moment we enter the building  to the classroom, said the class representatives during the celebration.Leandro Gorgal, of the Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Consul General, Marcelo Bertoldi, and the Deputy Consul Sebastian D'Aléssio, represented the Argentine government during the event, while FGV's international director, Bianor Cavalcanti, CLPP's executive director, Marlos Lima, and IDE's superintendent, Marcio Pezzella, represented FGV.The Specialization Course in Science and Technology Innovation Management is the result of the cooperation agreement between FGV and the government of Argentina signed in April, 2012, and it is funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The course objective is to complement the technical knowledge of the students with concepts and management tools, so that they may contribute to the development of the country.The project is run jointly by DINT/CLPP, IDE, and the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE).
