Fundação Getulio Vargas, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales (COMEXI) held on November 24th-26th in Mexico City, the Council of Councils Americas Regional Conference and Hemispheric Meeting of Councils on International Relations.In order to analyze the future of the Americas in global governance, the event discussed issues such as the concept of Latin America, its presence in multilateral and bilateral trade arrangements, the role of the G20 in global economics and politics, organized crime and drugs in the Americas and energy issues in the region.
