FGV Press will launch today, October 31st, the book Management of exchange operations - the first of the Foreign Trade and International Business Series Publications by FGV Management.Professors Shirley Yurica Kanamori Atsumi, Alexsandra Oliveira Bertolla, Gustavo Paiva Iamin and Marcelo Ferreira Lima are the authors of the work, which has the objective of helping readers with studies on the subject, from a comprehensive overview of the payment and collection process of international operations, derivatives of business transactions or capital movement.The book is aimed at students and professionals who work in the international business area and deals with factors such as exchange rates, foreign exchange contracts, evolution of the Brazilian exchange market, the role of banks and their representatives, transferring modalities among countries, payment methods used in foreign trade, the Brazilian import and export financing and international capital.The launch, which is open to the public, will take place at Saraiva bookstore in Ibirapuera Shopping Center, in São Paulo, at 7.30 pm.For more information about the publication, please click here (in Portuguese)
