The Center of Excellence in Retail (GVcev) of FGV's São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), in partnership with the Federation of Trade Associations in the State of São Paulo (FACESP) and SEBRAE-SP, will take more than 100 Brazilian businessmen to the 103^rd edition of the largest and most traditional retail fair in the world: the Retail's Big Show 2014, of the National Retail's Federation (NRF), in the United States.The event includes seminars, discussion forums, presentation of global companies' cases, exhibition of products and the latest technologies, and it will also introduce the main trends in the sector to the participants. In January this year it was the country that sent the largest number of participants to the fair. From the 27,600 registered visitors, coming from 82 countries, the largest delegations came from Brazil (1,736 entrepreneurs), Canada (1,212) and France (525).The Brazilian delegation coordinated by GVcev will participate in the entire program of the congress, including technical visits to retail stores in New York. In order to link the trends presented at the Retail's Big Show 2014 to the Brazilian reality, the group members will also participate in the discussion sessions and exclusive seminars with GVcev professors and SEBRAE-SP consultants.Such program is the only one offering a one-day seminar at the Babson College, in Boston - a worldwide renowned college in Entrepreneurial education.The fair takes place on January 9-19, 2014.
