São Paulo Law School meeting analyzes 25 years of the Federal Constitution

Recalling the constitutional process, evaluating the adaptability of the Constitution, its impact on governance, good governance and the relationship between the Constitution and society are the main objectives of the meeting: 25 years of the Federal Constitution, which FGV's São Paulo Law School (DIREITO GV) promotes tomorrow, October 2.The debate will be attended by the president of the Brazilian Association of Agrarian Reform (ABRA) and the candidate to the presidency by the political party PSTU for the 2010 elections, Plínio de Arruda Sampaio; the lawyer Miguel Reale Jr.; OAB's secretary-general and professor of Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), Claudio de Souza Pereira Neto; in addition to the FGV/EAESP professor, Fernando Abrucio and professors Antonio Sergio Rocha (Unifesp); Fernando Limongi and Maria Hermínia Tavares de Almeida (USP) and Flavia Piovesan (PUC-SP).São Paulo Law School professors Oscar Vilhena Vieira, Antonio Angarita, Dimitri Dimoulis, Luciana Gross Cunha and José Garcez Ghirardi will also attend the event.The meeting, which will be given in Portuguese, is open to the public and will take place in the auditorium of the School, from 9 am to 6 pm.For more information and access to the program, please click here.
