São Paulo Law School discusses approach to Justice and Human Rights

The Executive Coordinator of the Center for Applied Legal Research (CPJA) of FGV's São Paulo Law School, Ligia Paula Pinto Sica, participated, on August 23, in the 1st National Seminar on Access to Justice and Human Rights. The event was organized by the Legal Counsel Office of Popular Organizations (Gajop), in partnership with Instituto Humanitas Unicap and with the support of the European Union.Ligia discussed the method and the data of the research and presented the work Access to Justice, Mediation of Conflicts and Human Rights. From the presentation, a second phase of research was suggested, with the objective of pondering over the social changes that have occurred after the demonstrations and protests in the country.In the afternoon, the guests also participated in the second panel The Challenge to the Access to Justice and Law when Developing a Human Rights Culture, with the advisor of the Ministry of Culture, Ana Cristina Dubeux, who discussed the development of Child and Adolescent Rights.
