Professor Caio Almeida, from FGV/EPGE - Graduate School of Economics, has just been elected the new president of the Brazilian Society of Finance - a position that he will occupy for two years. Created in 2001, the company has more than 500 members (academics, students and professionals in the field), and its goal is to encourage Financial studies in the country, as well as organize annual meetings among leaders of the main research international institutions in the area. Click here and learn more (in Portuguese).
