The professor of FGV's Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE), Patrick Behr, will receive, in July, the Brazilian Finance Society Award (SBFin) 2013 for the article Opaqueness and bank risk taking - published last year in the magazine Revista Brasileira de Finanças (RBFin). The award is intended to encourage the publication of quality articles in RBFin. Since 2005, the magazine's editors elect one of the papers published the previous year to receive the award. In 2013, the 21 articles of the four issues of volume 10 published in 2012 were taken into consideration for the award. The article by Professor Behr got the most nominations. The award ceremony will take place on July 18, during the opening ceremony of the Brazilian Finance Meeting at PUC-Rio.
