FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) is part of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), a global network gathering 29 Business Schools from around the world to promote innovation and generate value through its students, alumni, professors, researchers, resources and other stakeholders.

The network includes distinctive institutions of excellence that stand out in their respective countries and on a global scale. Besides EAESP, GNAM also features Schools such as EGADE Business School (Mexico), Haas School of Business – University of California Berkeley (USA), PUC-Chile, Yale School of Management (USA), Fudan University (China), HEC Paris (France), London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), and University of Cape Town (South Africa), among other institutions. The Oxford Business School (Oxford Saïd – United Kingdom) recently joined the group as its 29th member.

This alliance represents a change beyond the traditional collaboration partnerships between business schools. The global network enables the development of innovative initiatives that leverage the schools’ competitive edge by employing state-of-the-art technologies, forging strong institutional and personal relationships, and operating with very little red tape. GNAM’s goal is to promote a transformation effect on their students, affiliated schools and management education.

The network’s members periodically meet at Global Network Weeks, where MBA students have an opportunity to take intensive courses at different schools within the network. In addition, short courses on each School’s philosophy, curriculum and specialty are also hosted. Students join colleagues from other schools and take classes, visit local companies and meet with experts focused on current business issues and challenges. The next GNAN Week will be held from March 13 - 17 across several of the network’s Schools, including EAESP.
