FGV law schools open registrations for short-term courses

FGV’s Sao Paulo Law School (Direito SP) and Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio) have opened registrations for their short-term courses. Course classes address technical and academic subjects to promote further studies in various legal areas.

In Sao Paulo, the Direito SP Graduate Program (GVlaw) offers a broad range of short-term courses for attorneys and legal professionals seeking to study and understand new concepts and theories across various fields of knowledge. Some of the courses include the trade union leadership, public bids, mergers & acquisitions, plea bargaining, corporate restructuring and recovery, standard and extraordinary contracts, and corporate digital law courses.

GVlaw also launched two brand new courses in the field of Digital Law: one of them focusing on litigation and disputes arising from new technologies, and the other addressing business models and digital media.

In Rio de Janeiro, the courses offered by Direito Rio’s FGV Law Program are built upon a practical, interdisciplinary and contemporary approach towards legal issues and its various themes. The portfolio includes subjects that have become popular recently, such as Compliance, Mediation and Arbitration, besides other equally relevant topics, such as Labor Corporate Law, Contracts, Bidding Processes, and Civil Proceedings.

The FGV Law Program also offers a course in English, focused on negotiating and drafting contracts and documents, created for professionals who wish to acquire more knowledge and skills in this particular field.
