The Study Group on the Impact of Technology on Legal, Social and Economic Relations (GITEC) at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP), with the support of the University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI), will soon be presenting the results of the FRET Project, a pioneering initiative that set out to address global trends in the regulation and taxation of cryptoassets. The event will take place on June 27, starting at 7 p.m., at FGV in Sao Paulo.

At the meeting, called “The Global Landscape of Cryptoasset Regulation and Taxation", experts will jointly outline the prospects for the future of regulation and taxation of cryptoassets, and one of the panel discussions, featuring guests from Ripple, will focus on new technologies. The results of the FRET Project will be presented on an interactive dashboard at the event.

During the meeting, there will be three panel discussions. The first will look at new technologies, the second will be about the taxation of cryptoassets, and the third will explore cryptoasset regulation.
