Soccer stadiums and territoriality: New Maracanã case

Lecture by the geographer Fernando da Costa Ferreira, professor at the Benjamin Constant Institute and PhD in Geography from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). The researcher will present his doctoral thesis on Maracanã, presenting results of his field research, reflecting on the architectural changes of the stadium after the reform for the 2014 World Cup and its impact on the ways of supporting the main soccer clubs of Rio de Janeiro.
