Research and Applied Knowledge Network
The Research Network was created in 2016 with the aim of encouraging the development of research with excellence, high impact and a high degree of innovation. To achieve this goal, the unit has brought together research activities from the public and private sectors, as well as encouraging the formation of research networks in Brazil and abroad.

As iniciativas da Rede de Pesquisa e Conhecimento Aplicado também levaram a FGV a se tornar a única instituição brasileira de pesquisa com um acordo de cooperação assinado com a Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (Fapesp).
Quality Center for Applied Research
The Getulio Vargas Foundation's Quality Center for Applied Research (CQPA) was created in 2020, within the scope of the FGV Research and Innovation Commission, with the aim of ensuring the technical quality and execution of proposals and reports associated with the knowledge application work developed by the institution's Centers, Schools and Units.
Ethics Compliance Committee for research involving human beings
Created in 2016, this is one of the first ethics committees in the country to focus on the Social Sciences. With the aim of guaranteeing the highest ethical standards in the development of research, this committee adopts the strictest standards established by the national and international scientific community.
Funding opportunities for research projects
The initiatives of the Research and Applied Knowledge Network have also led FGV to become the only Brazilian research institution with a cooperation agreement signed with the São Paulo State Research Foundation (Fapesp).
