About
Organized by the Sports Studies Laboratory (LESP) of FGV's School of Social Sciences (FGV CPDOC) and Nucleus of Contemporary Studies (Institute of History / UFF), the event will bring together specialists from the areas of geography, history and international relations to analyze the World Cups organized by FIFA as a geopolitical phenomenon to be understood in its institutional aspects, which sustain the correlations of strength between countries in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The first day of the event (04/04) will be held at FGV (Auditorium 1014, FGV's Main Office) and the second day (05/04) at UFF (Auditorium of the Graduate Institute of History, block O, room 1, 5th floor).
No prior registration is required.
