This year, the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Social Sciences (ANPOCS), in partnership with the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation’s National Institute of Public Communication and Technology, launched the ANPOCS Awards for Scientific Divulgation in Social Sciences. The dean of Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of Social Sciences (FGV CPDOC), Professor Celso Castro, won the award in the Professor/Researcher category for his role as coordinator of the Memory of Social Sciences in Brazil project.

As well as being coordinated by Celso Castro, the project is receiving technical support from FGV CPDOC’s in-house team to produce, edit and post the interviews, through the school’s Audiovisual and Documentary Center and Oral History Program.
The winners were announced in a special awards ceremony during ANPOCS’ 45th meeting, on October 27, held online, broadcast on the association’s YouTube channel.
