Event hosts chat with author of book, “The Women of X’oyep: Photos and Memories”
FGV Press is holding a special chat about “The Womeni of X’oyep: Photos and Memories”, a book that received a national photography award in Mexico and is published in Brazil by FGV Press. This public event will be held on August 31, at 6 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The book’s author, Professor Alberto Troncoso, will take part in a conversation with Pablo Porfirio, its translator; Professor Carlos Alberto Sampaio of the History Department at Sao Paulo State University in Assis; Professor Rebeca Monroy of Mexico’s National Institute for Anthropology and History; and Professor Ana Maria Mauad, the coordinator of the graduate history program at Fluminense Federal University. The discussion will be moderated by the director of FGV Press, Marieta de Moares Ferreira.
