Experts discuss judicial recovery from legal, economic and social perspectives
The objective of the meeting, held by FGV Projetos, is to continue and deepen the discussions on the topic through dialogue between law, economics and society.

FGV Projetos will hold the second edition of the seminar ‘Judicial Recovery from Legal, Economic and Social Perspectives’, on November 13, starting at 9 a.m. in Sao Paulo. The event will be held in the auditorium of FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) (Av. 9 de Julho, 2029). The objective of the meeting is to continue and deepen the discussions on the topic through dialogue between law, economics and society.
In a context in which the number of companies facing financial and economic difficulties has grown in the country, the discussion about judicial recovery becomes critical in order to avoid the bankruptcy of economically viable organizations and to assist in the recovery of the business, ensuring the employment, productivity, income generation, and development of Brazilian economy.
The guests include the Head of the National Disciplinary Board of the Courts and Superior Court of Justice (STJ) judge João Otávio de Noronha, and STJ judges Paulo de Tarso Sanseverino and Paulo Dias de Moura Ribeiro. The event was also attended by the Head of the Disciplinary Board of the Courts of the State of São Paulo, judge Manoel Pereira Calças, the President of the São Paulo section of the Brazilian Bar Association, Marcos da Costa, the judge of the Court of Appeals of Rio de Janeiro and FGV professor Luiz Roberto Ayoub, lawyer and FGV professor Paulo Penalva Santos, and project coordinator and FGV professor Sergio Bessa, among other experts and authorities.
