FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) will host the Open Day for Doctorate in Administration on February 8, at 1 p.m. The event will be held in auditorium 317 of FGV’s main office, in Rio de Janeiro.

Those interested will have access to a one-hour briefing session. During this session, participants will learn details about the selection process, research tracks, and main aspects surrounding the decision to participate in an exclusive dedication program aimed at training researchers. Once the program is introduced, applicants will have the opportunity to meet professors, students, and alumni during a coffee break.

The administration graduate program provides world-class business and conceptual training, in addition to unique insights regarding the range of contexts within Brazil’s reality. The program has four research tracks and focuses on the generation and dissemination of research published in top journals in the field of administration and related areas.

The research tracks are divided into Decision-Making and Behavioral Sciences – focusing on individual decision-making processes; Management and Organizations – focusing on processes at an organizational level; Finance – focused on business economics, asset pricing, corporate finance, banks, and financial decision-making; and Institutions, Policies, and Government – focusing on the policy development process at an institutional level.

The doctorate program prepares students for academic life as professors and researchers in universities or educational institutions in Brazil or abroad. Classes start in August and the course has a maximum duration of 48 months.
