Series of debates on culture and job market launched
This series of online meetings aims to present the field of cultural production.
FGV Knowledge is holding a new series of “WebinArtes” – seminars to debate the impact of culture on the job market. This series of online meetings aims to present the field of cultural production, through the experiences of each guest, and to identify the main challenges in this broad market.
The events will take place in partnership with the Inclusartiz Institute and they will be broadcast live, from 6 pm to 8 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel. The first meeting will be on January 26. The following ones will be on February 3, 10 and 18.

1st meeting | Cultural Production and New Markets
Date: January 26, 2022, 6 pm to 8 pm
Debate about the guests’ professional experiences in the field of cultural production and the Brazilian market, as well as new job opportunities, especially for young people who are starting their careers.
2nd meeting | Culture’s Impact on Social Transformation
Date: February 3, 2022, 6 pm to 8 pm
This debate will focus on the power of culture and the social transformation of its agents, observing the impacts of cultural interventions, everywhere from big cities to small communities.
3rd meeting | Culture and the Creative Economy
Date: February 10, 2022, 6 pm to 8 pm
This meeting will emphasize cultural production as part of the creative economy, addressing the relationship between cultural production and other fields of the creative economy, its innovation potential and the sustainability of these elements in the contemporary market. The dimension of culture in the economy will also be discussed.
4th meeting | Multiculturalism and Art in the Periphery
Date: February 18, 2022, 6 pm to 8 pm
The participants will debate the challenges of cultural production in peripheral communities, exploring the esthetic and social influences of this scene and the dimensions of this job market.
