FGV students win 1st place in CFA Institute Research Challenge 2024

The Getulio Vargas Foundation's Junior Financial Market Company (FGV CJE) won 1st place in the local stage of the 19th edition of the CFA Institute Research Challenge. The winning team is made up of students Renan Giliberti (FGV EESP), Lorena Bianca Romanato (FGV EAESP), Guilherme de Figueiredo Funck (FGV EESP), Henrique Longuinhos (FGV EESP) and Dario Tognato (FGV EAESP).

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that offers university students the opportunity to experience hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Participants are challenged in analytical skills, evaluation, report writing and presentations, gaining practical experience by taking on the role of research analysts. This year, the competition consisted of preparing a presentation with an investment thesis on the company Vibra.

The CJE

Founded on December 17, 2007 by students from the São Paulo School of Economics, CJE-FGV is Brazil's first Junior Financial Market Company, which is committed to training its members in the area of finance and carrying out projects for the market.

Consultoria Júnior de Economia is a student organization and junior company of the São Paulo School of Economics of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, formed and managed by undergraduates in Economics, Business Administration, International Relations and Law. Its corporate purpose is to carry out consultancy projects in the field of economics and finance for companies in the first, second and third sectors, as well as organizing training, events, courses, research and publications.
