Alketa Peci, a professor at the FGV Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) and the president of the National Association for Graduate Studies and Research in Administration (ANPAD), recently attended the 83rd Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM), in Bostonin Boston, Massachusetts. She also attended a side event organized by ANPAD in partnership with FGV EBAPE, the Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP), Fundação Dom Cabral, Insper (a higher education institute in Sao Paulo) and Paraná Federal University: the inaugural Brazilian Academy of Management Reception.

This side event, part of the official schedule of AOM’s 83^rd Meeting, was aimed at highlighting Brazilian academia and establishing significant international connections, allowing researchers and scholars from Brazil and elsewhere to network and share their experiences and knowledge. It was also an opportunity to strengthen the international visibility of the schools in question. The event attracted more than 150 people from Brazil and other countries.

Professor Alketa Peci also represented ANPAD at the AOM Forum for Leaders, which was also attended by the following institutions:

• European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS);
• Africa Academy of Management (AFAM);
• Western Academy of Management (WAM);
