FGV EPGE launches series of webinars on Brazilian economic policy in last 40 years
The meetings will be based on the recently launched book, “Brazil 1982-2019: A Collection of Economics Articles,” by Professor Rubens Penha Cysne. The first event in the series will take place on August 28, starting at 6 pm.

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) is holding a series of webinars to examine the experience of Brazilian economic policy in the last 40 years and thereby support analysis of the present situation. The meetings will be based on the recently launched book, “Brazil 1982-2019: A Collection of Economics Articles,” by Professor Rubens Penha Cysne. The first event in the series will take place on August 28, starting at 6 pm.
The first webinar in the series will explore the subject of “Growth and Institutions.” The speakers will be the secretary of the National Treasury, Bruno Funchal; the director of consulting firm Tendências Consultoria Integrada, Gustavo Loyola; and the CEO of Petrobras, Roberto Castello Branco. The moderator will be Professor Rubens Penha Cysne, the dean of FGV EPGE.
