Webinar debates role of public spending in COVID-19 pandemic and economic recovery

On May 22, at 6 pm, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) will hold a webinar called “The Pandemic and the Role of Public Spending.” The event will bring together experts and public policymakers to share their views on the role of public spending during the novel coronavirus pandemic and the economic recovery process.
The event will feature Senator Antonio Anastasia; Economy Ministry program directors Bruno Funchal and Caio Megale; Economy Ministry finance secretaries Jeferson Bittencourt and Waldery Rodrigues; FGV EPGE Professor Renato Fragelli; and Professor Rubens Penha Cysne, the dean of FGV EPGE.
