Project offers MBA students technical visits to Viracopos International Airport
Organized by FGV Executive Education in Campinas, the initiative began with groups of students from the MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and MBA in Business Management programs.
In August and October, FGV Executive Education in Campinas, Sao Paulo State, launched a series of technical visits to commercial and industrial companies with the aim of offering its MBA students a practical and realistic experience of the corporate world.
These technical visits allow students to observe the management practices and operational processes of successful organizations up close, enriching their education and broadening their professional horizons.
The project kicked off with students from the MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and MBA in Business Management programs, which are coordinated respectively by Professor Alexandre Pignanelli of the Center for Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain (FGVcelog) and Professor Pedro de Seixas of FGV Executive Education. The first visits were made to the Cargo Terminal at Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, which was rated “Cargo Airport of the Year” in the 2024 edition of the World Air Cargo Awards, one of the most prestigious global awards in the field of cargo logistics.
During the visits, the participants were inspired by examples of challenges that were overcome, innovative strategies and other success stories, motivating them to apply the insights gained to their academic research and professional careers.
