Energy industry leaders gather at farewell lunch for Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy

FGV Energy held a farewell lunch for the Brazilian Minister of Mines and Energy, Fernando Coelho Filho, on March 22. The event took place at FGV’s main office in Rio de Janeiro. The president of FGV, Professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, Vice President Sergio Franklin Quintella, and FGV Energy's Executive Director, Carlos Otavio Quintella, attended this event of great importance for the energy industry.

The event was also attended by the main leaders of the energy and oil & gas industry: Adriano Bastos (BP), Alejandro Duran (BHGE), André Araújo (Shell), Carlo Zorzoli (Enel Brasil), Carlos Langoni (Projeta Consultoria), David Zylbersztajn (DZ Consultoria), Décio Oddone (ANP), Javier La Rosa, (Chevron), Jesus Grande (BHGE), Jorge Camargo (IBP), José Firmo (IBP), Leonam Guimarães (Eletronuclear), Luiz Eduardo Barata (ONS), Luiz Augusto Barroso (EPE), Mario Santos (Enel Brasil), Maurício Stolle Bähr (Engie) and Verônica Fernandes (Statoil), as well as FGV Energy consultants, Magda Chambriard, Nelson Narciso, Felipe Gonçalves, Fernanda Delgado and Simone Lecques.

At the young age of 34, Fernando Coelho Filho is already in his third term as a federal representative for the State of Pernambuco, and was appointed Brazilian Minister of Mines and Energy in 2016, participating in decisive moments of Brazilian politics.
