Energy traders from Rio de Janeiro meet at FGV

On March 20, FGV Energy – Center for Energy Studies held the second Meeting of Energy Trading Companies from Rio de Janeiro. The event’s theme was short-term prices in the electricity market (PLD). During the meeting, the Pricing Manager of the Electricity Trading Chamber (CCEE), Rodrigo Sacchi, spoke about the ‘Republication of the PLD,’ followed by a debate.
The Rio de Janeiro Group of Energy Traders features companies based in the city of Rio de Janeiro that operate in the segment, under the goal of establishing a networking platform among professionals. At the same time, the discussions bring FGV Energy – Center for Energy Studies closer to this particular industry niche, guiding its research and improving the development of policies.
