ESG and Agenda 2030: Sustainable development and gender equity are subjects of webinar
The FGV Sao Paulo Law School’s Non-Degree Graduate Law Program (FGV LAW) is holding a free webinar on November 23, at 6 p.m., called “ESG and Agenda 2030: Sustainable Development and Gender Equity”.
There will be talks by Tatiana Leite Aguiar, an FGV LAW professor who teaches courses related to diversity and tax law; and Tatiana Tucunduva Cortese, also an FGV LAW professor, who teaches ESG and environmental law. The moderator will be Maria Claudia Girotto do Couto, FGV LAW’s academic coordination manager.
The United Nations has proposed 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030, and one of them is to achieve gender equity in all areas. Is this an isolated goal or is it crucial for achieving sustainable development? How do ESG pillars relate to this issue? What does society gain from gender equality? These are some of the questions to be discussed during the webinar.
