FGV ECMI announces new partnership with Brazilian Business Communication Association
On Thursday, November 23, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of Communication, Media and Information (FGV ECMI) and the Brazilian Business Communication Association (ABERJE) announced a partnership between the two institutions.
Founded in 1967, ABERJE is a professional and scientific nonprofit organization whose main objective is to strengthen the role of communication in companies and institutions, as well as offering training and career development to professionals in the field and disseminating communication knowledge.
The dean of FGV ECMI, Marco Aurélio Ruediger, expressed his future goals for this partnership, highlighting the importance of corporate communication amid today’s digital transformations. “We are facing new challenges in the way we communicate and relate. In the digital environment, in particular, products are expanding very quickly. In this context, corporate communication plays an essential role. Through it, organizations convey their values, objectives, results and goals, not only to employees and partners, but to society as a whole. Knowing how to communicate effectively and assertively, in a world that is expanding digitally, is also a social function,” he said.
The partnership seeks to produce knowledge and share best practices to strengthen institutions’ communication and reinforce the strategic and civic role of communicators.
