Between February 10 and 13, there was an Integration Week for the new Digital Communication undergraduates at FGV Comunicação Rio, with an extensive program to present the course and offer lectures with professionals from the market. In this way, the students got to know the structure of the course, the teaching staff, its values and the opportunities available. They also had contact with the DAPPLab and MídiaLab laboratories and the school's Digital Communication agency.

Director Marco Ruediger gave a brief talk to the students on Wednesday 12th about his expectations and the course, highlighting innovation as the main characteristic, so that the communications sector is no longer seen as a middle area, but as something strategic in companies. According to him, training in Digital Communication is extremely important in times of Artificial Intelligence and the use of social networks.

On the first day, there was a presentation of the course and the teaching staff, with a speech by coordinator Renata Tomaz, as well as a presentation of the student organizations: LACOM, the FGV Digital Communication Academic League, and the Digital Communication Academic Center, both presented by their respective representatives.

Starting on Tuesday afternoon, a series of lectures on Digital Communication took place. The first focused on Corporate Communication, with the participation of the executive director of ABERJE (Brazilian Association of Corporate Communication), Hamilton Santos, who spoke about the work of the institution and how it has adapted to changes in the market. The second lecture featured Olivia Richardson, head of communications and marketing at PRIO, an oil and gas company; and on Thursday, the guests were Mariana Stabile, CEO of Sharp, and Yuri Zero, from Melted Videos, on the subject of communication for Gen Z.

At FGV, training goes beyond the classroom. Through strategic events and direct contact with big names in the market, students have access to concrete learning and networking opportunities right from the start of their degree.
