Authorities participate in the inaugural lecture of the FGV MBA in Regulation and Digital Ecosystems
The MBA in Regulation and Communication in Digital Ecosystems was designed to offer innovative training, covering topics such as data intelligence, regulation of digital platforms, digital economy, and cybersecurity.

FGV Comunicação (FGV Communication) and FGV In Company held the inaugural lecture of the MBA in Regulation and Communication in Digital Ecosystems, gathering authorities, experts, and students in the institution’s auditorium. The event featured a keynote lecture by João Brant, Secretary of Digital Policies at the Office of Communication of the Presidency of the Republic (SECOM), along with participation from key figures in the regulatory and academic scene.
Among those present were the president of Anatel, Carlos Manuel Baigorri, the agency’s advisors, Daniel Martins D’Albuquerque and Vinicius de Oliveira Caram Guimarães, as well as Amaro Grassi, Vice-Director of FGV Comunicação (FGV Communication), and João Felipe Sauerbronn, professor at FGV Comunicação (FGV Communication) and academic coordinator of the MBA.
During the event, Anatel’s president highlighted the relevance of the course for updating and training professionals in the sector. “This MBA is essential to ensure Anatel’s repositioning in the context of an increasingly complex digital ecosystem,” stated Baigorri.
The MBA in Regulation and Communication in Digital Ecosystems was conceived to provide innovative training, addressing topics such as data intelligence, regulation of digital platforms, digital economy, and cybersecurity. The program is structured into three modules: Communication, Law and Society; Economy, Platforms and Digital Networks; and Emerging Technologies and Digital Security, ensuring comprehensive training for professionals working at the intersection of communication, technology, and regulation.
Coordinated by professor João Felipe Sauerbronn, with Leonardo Foletto as vice-coordinator, the course aims to prepare specialists to understand and act on market transformations in the digital field, reinforcing FGV's commitment to academic excellence and innovation in education.
ABOUT THE MBA REGULATION AND COMMUNICATION IN DIGITAL ECOSYSTEMS
The program’s structure was designed considering three updating courses:
Communication, Law and Society, with subjects that cover the main theories and trends of communication, culture, and management in the digital environment, from Artificial Intelligence to platform studies and algorithms, through Business Intelligence and Digital Transformation.
The second course, Economy, Platforms and Digital Networks, considers the interfaces of digital and strategic communication with the economy, the market, consumption, psychology, and law, addressing topics such as platform regulation, digital work, attention economy, and innovation.
Finally, the third course, Emerging Technologies and Digital Security, addresses the fundamentals of Data Science, also emphasizing data visualization and digital security, concluding with subjects related to research in digital environments.
